THE PERFECT (HUMAN) STORM

......."This is neither a confession nor an apology. It is a statement, like one might give to a vice detective, a probation officer or a Taliban mutawwa. It is a hard story to tell for I am still unsure how such a simple act, such as a kiss, could have created such utter and complete devastation. A Tuscan vacation was ruined, lifelong friendships are severed and a tight knit of merrymakers no longer exists. And I am to blame. After a month of reflection, I believe the massacre at Villa Bestia Nera was a natural phenomenon. All of the personal and psychological elements were in place for a spark to ignite the Perfect (Human) Storm.
